I’ve loved this song ever since it was first released. That was by the Humblebums, a duo of Gerry Rafferty and noted British comic and actor Billy Connelly. The cool, curious thing about Linda Thompson’s cover is she gender switched the song to “His Mother Never Liked Me Anyway” to “Her Father Didn’t Like Me Anyway.” Just thought that was worth noting.
